Chelsea Outpatient Centre is a modern, contemporary private diagnostic and treatment facility providing patients with quick, convenient private healthcare.

Our highly skilled private consultants ensure all our patients receive professional, personal, attentive private healthcare in well-equipped rooms. Chelsea Outpatient Centre offers 13 consulting rooms and three treatment rooms where minor procedures can be carried out. All of the specialities currently covered by Chelsea Outpatient Centre are also represented at The Lister Hospital.

Like The Lister Hospital and its sister hospitals, Chelsea Outpatient Centre is regulated by the Care Quality Commission.

Mr Adam Searle
Medical Director

Adam Searle is a past President of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He graduated in both medicine (MBBS) in 1985, and dentistry (BDS) in 1979 from Guy’s Hospital and University of London.

Having completed training in general surgery and becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 1989, he specialised in plastic and reconstructive surgery training in teaching hospitals, specialist, and regional plastic surgery units.

In 1994 he was awarded the Ian McGregor medal at the Royal College of Surgeons in the Specialist Fellowship (FRCS Plast). He is included on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery.

The same year, Mr Searle was appointed as consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon at the Charing Cross Hospital, developing his interests in cancer reconstruction and aesthetic surgery.

In 1999 Mr Searle was appointed at the Royal Marsden Hospital where he currently holds the position of Senior Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon, specialising in breast cancer, head and neck cancer, skin cancer and sarcoma reconstruction.

Mr Searle has been Medical Director at Chelsea Outpatient Centre since March 2013.


Chelsea Outpatient Centre is regulated by the Care Quality Commission in accordance with the Care Standards Act 2000 and inspected regularly against National Minimum Standards (Department of Health 2002). The Care Quality Commission is responsible for monitoring the performance of all NHS and independent healthcare organisations across England and Wales. Infection control

As infection control is a key priority in Chelsea Outpatient Centre, the incident of infection is extremely low. All healthcare staff is required to participate in the prevention and control of infection and are expected to observe simple rules of hygiene.

HCA has an Infection Control team of nurses and clinical microbiologists dedicated to the prevention and control of hospital infection. The team offer guidance in accordance with the Department of Health best practice recommendations. More information is available on request.
