Dr Gary Davies is a Consultant Respiratory Physician and Clinical Lead for Acute Medicine at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London. He is also the Consultant Advisor in Medicine for the Royal Air Force.

Dr Davies undertook his medical training primarily in London, and in particular the Royal Brompton Hospital, before undertaking a Senior Fellowship in Respiratory and Intensive Care at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, Australia. He undertook an MD in the pressure breathing system of the Typhoon (Eurofighter). This was undertaken between the National Heart and Lung Institute and RAF Centre of Aviation Medicine.

Dr Davies, on completion of his training, took up a consultant post at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in Respiratory and Acute Medicine and undertook the design and implementation of formerly the Acute Medical Unit and latterly the joint medical and surgical Acute Assessment Unit.
