Biography

Professor Ros Eeles is Professor of Oncogenetics at The Institute of Cancer Research, University of London UK.

She trained at The University of Cambridge, UK and St Thomas’ Hospital,London. She is Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Royal College of Radiologists (Clinical Oncology Faculty), London. She is accredited in Clinical Oncology and has extensive sub-specialist experience in Cancer Genetics.

Her oncological practice is in radiotherapy and chemotherapy for Uro-Oncology. Her cancer genetics practice involves cancer risk assessment, screening advice and management of increased cancer risk. She is also an expert in how the new cancer genetics impacts on treatment decisions. 

She has an international standing in Cancer Genetic Clinical Management and Research, particularly management of individuals with mutations in the breast/ovarian/prostate cancer predisposition genes, BRCA1 and BRCA2 and genetic predisposition to prostate cancer.
