Pain management uses an interdisciplinary approach for easing the suffering and improving the quality of life of those living with pain. Medicine treats injury, speeds healing and treats distressing symptoms so as to relieve suffering during treatment and healing.
Dr John Outhwaite MA(Oxon) BMBCh FRCP
Dr Outhwaite specialises in the treatment of low back pain, fibromyalgia, whiplash injury, foot & knee pain. He works closely with multi-disciplinary colleagues including physiotherapists, occupational therapists and personal trainers.

Dr Glyn Towlerton BSc MBBS MRCP FRCA FIPP
Dr Towlerton is a Pain management specialist, whose special interests include back and neck pain, sciatica, shoulder and neuropathic pain and acupuncture.
Dr John E Williams MB BS FRCA
Dr Williams has been the Head of pain services at Royal Marsden Hospital for the past 16 years. His main area of expertise is the treatment of pain associated with cancer, in particular management of persistent pain after breast surgery, pain associated with head and neck cancer, intractable pain and neuropathic pain.
